Washing machine not draining

Common causes include an object in the filter, a kinked drain hose or a weak pump. Pump power, the water-level sensor and control board can create the same symptom. The technician drains the water safely and checks the system in sequence.

If the pump hums but water does not move, repeated restarts may overheat it. The correct solution may be cleaning, hose correction or replacement with a model-compatible pump.
